It’s been a little crazy around here for the last few weeks… because I have just finished Module 1 of the final year of my Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, Yay!! So now there’s just two more modules to go, and then I will be fully qualified- and I can’t explain how excited that makes me, I am completely beside myself, ecstatic, and OVERJOYED! I will share the project on here as soon as I get my marks back 🙂
If you follow me on instagram (@emilymay_designs) you will know that I started to take part in #The100DayProject, which sadly I couldn’t keep up with as I became a bit overwhelmed with my degree project, BUT I did end up with a few watercolour paintings that I really loved, so I though I would share a few of my faves with you today:
I love this Pink Pentax camera, especially the colours in the lens, I’m pretty proud of that! I used a waterproof drawing pen in size 03 and watercolour paints on watercolour paper that I bought from Tiger.
This one was actually a quick sketch of the hotel front for the project I did for my last module. It’s a real building (office building currently) in Brighton called Blenheim House, I just love the 18th Century French architectural details, so cute! I didn’t use any pencil or ink, just went straight in with the watercolours…
A couple of cute perfume bottles I did just for fun 🙂 Daisy Dream is in drawing pen (03) and watercolour, and Miss Dior was in pencil and watercolour.
I really enjoyed getting back into using watercolour again, I forgot how fun they are! I think I want to start rendering some of my interiors in watercolour rather than markers… Maybe I will test that this week…
Lots of love Emily x
