Farrow and Ball Cinder Rose is a beautiful dusky shade of pink. It has a subtle bluishness to it, which sets it apart nicely from other shades of pink, and gives it a slightly more sophisticated feel.
Pink is a great colour to use almost anywhere in your home. It will add warmth and personality to your space. This romantic nurturing color can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and garden rooms. In fact, you can use it in any space where you want to add life and colour really!

This is a great example of how Cinder Rose by Farrow and Ball can be used in a children’s bedroom. Although this shade of pink is slightly muted, it goes wonderfully with brighter colors as you can see in this adorable bedroom design by @sincerelyjill on Instagram.

Another gorgeous example by @florrie_and_olive on Instagram. Cinder rose pink is ideal for creating a warm, playful design in a kid’s room. Pink is a nurturing, loving color, so it’s perfect for creating a comforting space for your little one to retreat to at the end of the day.
Another gorgeous girls room for you! Here, the walls are split evenly in pink and white, which works really well and adds an element of fun to the room.
Cinder Rose Office
If you’re looking for something a little more ‘grown up’, then check out this stunning office painted in Cinder Rose. The deep blue on the woodwork (is that Stiffkey blue I spy?) contrasts beautifully with the pink, creating a sense of fun and balance in this traditional-style home office.
Cinder Rose Dining Room

I can’t express enough how much I love this dining room by @blueorchidliving. It’s just too perfect! If you’re a lover of traditional interior design, I’m sure you’ll love this too. Pink and green go amazingly well together, due to the fact that they are complementary colours on the colour wheel, so if you’re looking for a colour that goes with Cinder Rose, you might want to try a shade of green!
Furniture Painted in Cinder Rose by Farrow and Ball
If you don’t want to go as far as painting your walls in Cinder Rose, then why not test the waters by painting some furniture instead. This is the perfect way to add a little color and fun to any room in your home!

Pink and black are one of the best colour combinations ever (in my humble opinion). I’m sure you will agree after seeing this Cinder Rose wall paired with a stunning black marble fireplace. Perfect.
If you want to brighten up a hallway in your home, then a pink wall should do the trick! Cinder rose is perfect for using in any area of your home, including the hallway. Again, you can see how well the bold black frames of the artwork and the black painted woodwork contrast so beautifully with the pink.
Cinder Rose Bedroom
If you’ve been looking for a Farrow and Ball Cinder Rose dupe, or alternative, then you should check out this gorgeous bedroom by Scarlett London. She has had the colour matched perfectly by Valspar, and the results are amazing.
Other companies such as Dulux also offer a color matching service, so if you’re unable to spend the money on Farrow and Ball, this is a great alternative to get the colour you want.
Try Painting The Bathtub

Another way to bring a splash of pink to your home without painting the walls, is to paint furniture and accessories in this colour. So why not paint the bath tub?! This is a great way to bring warmth, life, and colour to what might otherwise be quite a dark bathroom.
What Colour Goes With Cinder Rose?
If you’ve been wondering what colour goes best with Cinder Rose, you’re in the right place!
Farrow and Ball recommend:
I’m not a fan of Mahogany, but Skimming Stone and Great White are both great options.
Personally, I would go for a blue, like Stiffkey Blue, or De Nimes. Greens also go really well – Try Green Smoke or Card Room Green.

Hi , I am looking for the dark green/gold wallpaper used in the second picture. I have contacted Farrow and Ball , but it is not one of theirs. Do you by any chance know who originally printed this picture ?
Thank you
